About the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act is a U.S. copyright law. It addresses the rights and obligations of owners of copyrighted material who believe their rights under U.S. copyright law have been infringed, particularly but not limited to, on the Internet. DMCA specifically addresses the rights and obligations of service providers on whose servers or networks the infringing material may be found.

Scope

OnestreamLive is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and complying with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and the EU Directive on Copyright. This DMCA and Copyright policy outlines our procedures and guidelines for addressing copyright infringement claims and how we handle such claims on our platform.

This policy only applies to the content that is hosted by OneStream Live Inc. Content that is live streamed to public social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook etc are not covered by this policy. Copyrights infringement related to content live streamed on third-party social media platforms is directly handled those platforms.

Reporting copyright infringement:

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed upon or if you have encountered any content that you believe infringes upon your rights, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Click the flag icon on the video
  2. Select Copyright Infringement form the drop-down menu.
  3. Click Report
  4. Fill the webform that opens up
  5. Click Submit

The notification can also be submitted by sending an email to [email protected]. The email should include the following information:

i. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

ii. A description of the copyrighted work or works claimed to have been infringed.

iii. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

iv. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

v. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information provided in the notification is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Please ensure that your notification is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Knowingly misrepresenting any information in a copyright infringement notification may result in legal consequences.

Counter-notification:

If you receive a notification claiming that your content infringes upon someone else’s copyright and you believe it is incorrect or that you have the necessary rights to use the content, you may submit a counter-notification using this webform.
You can also file us a counter-notification by sending us an email to [email protected]. The email must include the following information:

i. Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and its location before removal.

ii. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

iii. Your physical or electronic signature

iv. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

v. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located or, if your address is outside of Finland, for any judicial district in which we may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the copyright infringement notification or their agent.

Please ensure that your counter-notification is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Knowingly misrepresenting any information in a counter-notification may result in legal consequences.

Repeat infringers:

In cases of repeated infringement, we reserve the right to terminate the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers and take appropriate legal action to protect the rights of copyright holders.

Our platform operates as a service provider, and we do not actively monitor all user-generated content. However, we are committed to taking appropriate action when notified of infringing material and cooperating with copyright owners to resolve such issues.
