ABOUT THE DIGITAL MILLENNIUM COPYRIGHT ACT (DMCA)

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act is a U.S. copyright law. OneStream Live Oy is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and complying with applicable copyright laws. This DMCA and Copyright policy outlines our procedures and guidelines for addressing copyright infringement claims and how we handle such claims on our platform.

This policy only applies to content that is hosted by OneStream Live Oy. Content that is live streamed to public third-party social media platforms such as YouTube or Facebook is not covered by this policy, and any copyright infringement claims relating to such platforms are handled directly by those platforms.

This policy is designed to comply with both the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable European Union copyright laws, including the EU Copyright Directive.

REPORTING COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed upon or if you have encountered any content that you believe infringes upon your rights, please follow the steps outlined below:

  • Click the flag icon on the video
  • Select Copyright Infringement form the drop-down menu.
  • Click Report
  • Fill the webform that opens up
  • Click Submit

The notification can also be submitted by sending an email to [email protected]. The email should include the following information:

i. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
ii. A description of the copyrighted work or works claimed to have been infringed.
iii. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
iv. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
v. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information provided in the notification is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Please ensure that your notification is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Knowingly misrepresenting any information in a copyright infringement notification may result in legal consequences.

COUNTER-NOTIFICATION

If you receive a notification claiming that your content infringes upon someone else’s copyright and you believe it is incorrect or that you have the necessary rights to use the content, you may submit a counter-notification using this webform.

You can also file us a counter-notification by sending us an email to [email protected]. The email must include the following information:

i. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
ii. A description of the copyrighted work or works claimed to have been infringed.
iii. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

v. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Finland for the resolution of any dispute arising from or relating to the removal or restoration of the material, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original copyright infringement notification or their authorized agent.

Please ensure that your counter-notification is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Knowingly misrepresenting any information in a counter-notification may result in legal consequences.

REPEAT INFRINGERS

In accordance with applicable copyright laws, OneStream Live Oy reserves the right, at its sole discretion and in appropriate circumstances, to suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat copyright infringers. We may also take additional actions, including removing or disabling access to infringing content, where necessary to protect the rights of copyright holders and to comply with legal obligations.

DISCLAIMER

Please note that while we strive to promptly and effectively address copyright infringement claims, OneStream Live Oy may not be responsible for content uploaded, broadcast, recorded, and/or live streamed by users through the OneStream Live platform. OneStream Live Oy operates solely as a technical service provider and intermediary and does not claim ownership over user-generated content, nor does it actively monitor all such content.

However, we are committed to taking appropriate action when properly notified of infringing material and to cooperating with copyright owners in accordance with applicable copyright laws.
