OneStream Live provides this Privacy Policy to inform users of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personally identifiable information received from users of this website, located at https://onestream.live “the Website” and OneStream application “the App” and collectively Website and App, “the Services”.

OneStream Live allows registered users to live stream pre-recorded and real-time video content to different supported platforms.

This Privacy Policy describes how and when OneStream Live collects, uses and shares your information when you use our services. When using any of our services you consent to the collection, transfer, storage, disclosure, and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

GDPR COMPLIANCE

OneStream fully comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All our service providers are also GDPR compliant. 

HOW WE COLLECT INFORMATION

We collect information in following ways: 

  • We collect information that you voluntarily provide to become a registered user of our service (e.g. name, an email address and password). You may however visit our site anonymously. 
  • We collect information when you login to other third-party platforms by logging into an account that you already have with certain third-party sites e.g. YouTube, Facebook, X (formally Twitter) , etc. via our service. 
  • When you upload a video or picture, we collect information about the video/picture for statistical purpose e.g. file size, file format, file name, title of your stream etc.
  • When you browse our website we collect information about how you use our Service (See “Log Data,” below.)  

WHERE WE STORE YOUR INFORMATION

We store your personal information on our servers located inside the European Union.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

  • Personal Data:  When you register with us through the Website or mobile app to become a registered user of OneStream and when you buy our subscription plan, we ask you for certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
    • Email address
    • First name and last name
    • Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City
    • Cookies and Usage Data

We use your Personal Information to provide the Services to you. For example: 

Account registration: We create your user account for your use of the Service based upon the Personal Information you provide. 

Communications:We use your Personal Information to contact you with OneStream newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to receive such communications from us, please follow the unsubscribe instructions provided in any of the communications or update your “preferences” information in your account settings. (See “Your choices regarding information,” below.) 

Customer service: We use your Personal Information to respond to your questions and/or inquiries. 

  • Access tokens:  When you want to stream your videos to a supported third-party platform we ask you to authorize OneStream to post on the third-party platforms on your behalf. When you grant us authorization we save an access token that is linked to your account on that third-party platform. This token is provided by the third-party and identifies the permissions you have given us. We use this access token to stream videos on your accounts on the third-party platforms. We do not have access to your username and password or other account credentials on any of the supported platform to where you stream your videos. Current supported platforms are YouTube, Facebook, X (formally twitter), Twitch, Mixer, Smashcast & other Custom Platforms. 
  • Log Data:  When you visit the Service, whether as a registered User or a non-registered user just browsing, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your IP address, the operating system type, browser type, browser language, the webpage you were visiting before you came to our Service, Country and state where you are accessing our webpage from, last time you visited our website, pages of our Service that you visit, the time spent on those pages, information you search for on our Service, access times and dates, your subscription plan if you are a paid user and other statistics. We use this information to monitor and analyze use of the Service and the Service’s technical administration, to increase our Service’s functionality and user-friendliness, and to better tailor our Service to our visitors’ needs. For example, some of this information is visible to our support agents and they can quickly help you without asking for basic details about your browser and system etc. We also use this information to verify that visitors to the Service meet the criteria required to process their requests.
  • Content:  Accountholders will upload content such as videos, text (e.g. video description, title etc.) and pictures (e.g. profile pictures, video thumbnails etc.). This content is necessary to stream your videos to the destination platform and to accurately display your historical data in your OneStream dashboard. All your uploaded content is saved securely on our servers located inside European Union. We do not, edit, modify, share or scan your uploaded content in anyway.
  • Cookies:  Like many online services, OneStream uses “cookies” and similar tracking technologies on our Service to collect information. A cookie is a small data file that is stored in your browser. We utilize cookies to enable certain features of the Service, to better understand how you interact with the Service, for marketing and to monitor aggregate usage by OneStream Users and web traffic routing on the Service. If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use all portions of the Service or all functionality of the Service. (See “Your choices regarding information,” below.)

  • Analytics and History When you stream videos using our website we automatically record information that we can use to provide you different statistics, to make sure you comply with the video size/format requirements and keep track of your streaming history so that your streaming history is visible in OneStream dashboard. Information collection includes, but is not limited to, video size, video format, video title, date and time when video was streamed, video length, name of platforms video is streamed to and name of social accounts (Facebook Pages, Groups etc.) where the video is streamed. We also keep a history of all your video streaming activity. We keep the link of your streams on the platforms where it is streamed (for analytics purpose). We only keep the link of your videos on the platforms where it is streamed (for analytics purpose) but not the actual video. For example if you stream your video to YouTube and Facebook we store a URL of your video on YouTube and Facebook. The privacy settings of the video you have streamed apply to us, just as they apply to any other normal internet user.
  • Other Information You May Submit:  You may submit data to us for limited purposes such as requesting customer support; answering a questionnaire; participating in a study; entering contests or sweepstakes; or signing up to receive communications from us or another user.

SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION

  • Aggregate Information and Non-Identifying Information:  We may share aggregated information that does not include Personal Information and we may otherwise disclose Non-Identifying Information and Log Data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other purposes. Any aggregated information shared in these contexts will not contain your Personal Information. 
  • Video Content: When you upload a video, it is saved in one of our secure storage servers. We do not edit, modify or scan the contents of the video in anyway. The videos stored in our servers are not shared with anyone outside or inside the company. Only members of technical support team can access your videos in case you need help to solve a problem related to video streaming. If you are a free user, the videos are deleted from our servers after they have been streamed to all of the selected platforms. If you are a paid user your unused videos are kept for 60 days.
  • Social Networking Sites (SNSs): We may share the information in your OneStream account (including your Personal Information) with the SNSs that you have linked to your OneStream account. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only for this purpose (unless the SNS has received your Personal Information independently of the Service) and not for other purposes. 
  • Facebook Connect:  We allow Users to link their Facebook account to our Service. Users can then post recent activity on our Service back to their Facebook account. You will be prompted to decide whether or not your activity on the Service will be shared and disclosed on your Facebook service. You can disable the foregoing feature at any time by logging into your profile and selecting the option to disable Facebook Connect. Further, you may be able to edit your privacy settings for the content that you post which appears on Facebook by making selections in your application settings page in Facebook. 
  • Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement:  OneStream cooperates with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We can disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process including, but not limited to, subpoenas, to protect the property and rights of OneStream or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity. 
  • Business Transfers:  OneStream may sell, divest, transfer, assign, share or otherwise engage in a transaction that involves, some or all of our assets, including any or all of the information described in this Policy. In case of a corporate divestiture, merger, acquisition, joint venture, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganisation, or any other similar transaction or proceeding, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
  • Retention:  We’ll retain information about you on our servers for as long as you have an account, except uploaded videos that are automatically deleted if they are not used for 60 days. If you delete your account, we’ll also delete all information related to you. But please note we may retain some information if necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. You can access your personal information by logging in to your OneStream dashboard.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have a right to be informed of Personal Data processed by OneStream Live, a right to rectification/correction, erasure and restriction of processing. You also have the right to receive a structured, common and machine-readable format of Personal Data you provided to us.

We can only identify you via your email address and we can only adhere to your request and provide information if we have Personal Data about you through you having made contact with us directly and/or you using our site and/or service. We cannot provide, rectify or delete any data that we store on behalf of our users or customers.

YOUR CHOICE REGARDING INFORMATION

You have several choices regarding the use of information on our Service: 

  • Email Communications:  If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to receive email communications from us, please follow the unsubscribe instructions provided in any of the communications. 
  • Cookies:  If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to accept cookies from our Service for any of the purposes described above, you can withdraw your consent in our cookie declaration. If you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all portions of the Service or all functionality of the Service. If you have any questions about how to disable or modify cookies, please let us know at the contact information provided below. 
  • Disconnecting social media platforms:  If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to have your account on any of the supported platforms (e.g., Facebook or YouTube) linked to your OneStream account, then you may disconnect the account in the “Add Accounts” section in OneStream dashboards. 
  • Changing or Deleting Your Information:  All Users may review, update and correct the Personal Information or streaming history in their User account by contacting us. You can delete all your Personal Data by deleting your account from your profile settings in OneStream dashboard. This action is irreversible and it will delete all your OneStream data. We may retain an archived copy of your records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

HOW WE STORE AND PROTECT INFORMATION

  • Information Security:  We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as your account information for supported platforms), that information is encrypted and transmitted directly (and in some cases via our servers) to the video streaming platform you have selected in a secure way. We use SSL encryption to make sure that your account details are transferred securely to the required platform. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment. While we use commercially reasonable safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of information collected and maintained through the Service, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us or guarantee that information on the Service may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by unauthorized persons
  • Phishing:  Identity theft and the practice currently known as “phishing” are of great concern to OneStream. Safeguarding information to help protect you from identity theft is a top priority. We do not request your credit card information, login information, or national identification numbers in a non-secure or unsolicited e-mail or telephone communication. 
  • Breach Notification:  We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of stored “personal data” (as defined in applicable law) to you via email or conspicuous posting on this Service in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, insofar as consistent with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii)  any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system. 
  • International Transfer:  Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

ADVERTISING POLICIES

We may use an outside ad company to display ads on our site. These ads may contain cookies. While we use cookies in other parts of our Web site, cookies received with banner ads are collected by our ad company, and we do not have access to this information. To try and bring you offers that are of interest to you, we have relationships with other companies that we allow to place ads on our Web pages. As a result of your visit to our site, ad server companies may collect information such as your domain type, your IP address and click information.

We allow third-party companies to serve ads and/or collect certain anonymous information when you visit our web site. We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services (e.g., maintenance services, database management, web analytics, re-marketing and improvement of the Service’s features) or to assist us in analyzing how our Service are used. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose

    Facebook Ads conversion tracking is an analytics service provided by Facebook, Inc. that connects data from the Facebook advertising network with actions performed on this Website.
  • Microsoft Clarity
    We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. BEHAVIORAL REMARKETING

OneStream Live uses remarketing services to advertise on third party websites to you after you visited our Service. We and our third-party vendors use cookies to inform, optimize and serve ads based on your past visits to our Service.

    Cloudflare, Inc. is an American company that provides content delivery network services, cloud cybersecurity, DDoS mitigation and domain registration services.

PAYMENTS

We provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.     Crisp Chat is a User communication and database management service provided by Crisp IM SARL. We use Crisp Chat to provide live chat and email communication service to you. It stores also stores most of the “Log Data” and your personal information like email address and name.

OUR POLICY TOWARDS CHILDREN'S INFORMATION

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at [email protected]. If we become aware that a person under 18 has provided us with Personal Information, we will ask his/her guardian’s approval and if not provided within one (1) week we will delete such information from our records.

CHANGE TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

This Policy may be modified from time to time in our sole discretion. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will publish those changes on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
