Affiliate Terms of Use

Following are the Terms and Conditions for joining the OneStream Live Affiliate Program.

Scope

This is a legal agreement between You (the ‘Affiliate’) and OneStream Live. By entering this agreement, you express wilful consent that you have read and understand the terms and conditions of this agreement and that you agree to be legally responsible for each and every term and condition.

General

The OneStream Live Affiliate Program caters to influencers, YouTubers, educators, marketers and agencies, churches and Houses of Worship, gamers, and anyone keen to recommend our top-notch streaming solution to their audience. We actively encourage our loyal customers to join our affiliate community.

If you truly acknowledge the inherent value of our product, our affiliate program serves as a legitimate opportunity to genuinely advocate for it to a broader audience in an authentic manner.

We periodically update these terms.
We may also replace these terms in their entirety if, for example, our Affiliate Program changes, ends, or becomes part of an existing program, including our partner programs.
If we update or replace the terms, we will inform you via electronic means, which may include an in-app notification or by email.
If you don’t agree to the update or replacement, you can choose to terminate as we describe below.

Application, Approval & Rejection

You are applying for our Affiliate Program right now. Please note that while you’re in the process of applying, we reserve the right to decline or remove enrolment from our program at our discretion. Once you accept this agreement, you’ll officially become a part of our affiliate program, enabling you to instantly begin sharing your affiliate link and earning lucrative commissions.

Affiliate Dashboard

Your affiliate dashboard is unique to you. It contains everything you’ll need to promote our site and our product, including:

Your affiliate referral link: the unique URL you place on your site or promote through other channels
One-click sharing to WhatsApp, social media and email
Important stats from your affiliate performance: clicks, sign-ups, referrals, and total payouts to date.
Banner ads and more sharing resources.

Commission

You will receive a 25% recurring commission for every purchase made through your unique referral link. This is applicable on all monthly and yearly subscriptions.
You will continue to receive this commission for as long as the user who purchased via your referral link stays with us on the paid plan. The moment he/she downgrades to Free or cancels his/her subscription, you will no longer be eligible for the commission from this user.
You can withdraw your earnings after you have earned at least $50 and have at least 2 paid customers who have purchased via your referral link. You will have to make a request for withdrawal from your Affiliate Dashboard.
You cannot refer yourself, and you will not receive a commission on your own accounts. Self-referral may lead to permanent termination of your affiliate account.
Each customer prospect expires after 60 days. This means if a customer clicks your affiliate link and is redirected to our website, the customer must buy our subscription within 60 days. Any purchase made by a customer after 60 days will not earn you any credit.
Payments will only be made through PayPal; no other payment methods are supported. Hence, you must have a valid PayPal account to qualify for the OneStream Live Affiliate Program. Any PayPal fees, deductions, etc. will NOT be paid by OneStream Live.
You are responsible for payment of all taxes applicable to the commission you receive.
The commission will only be paid if the customer who purchased the plan through your referral link has been with us for 30 days. This is to make sure that the customer doesn’t ask for a refund during the first month. If a refund is made on a specific sale that came through your affiliate link, no credit will be paid for that purchase.

Modification

We may modify any of the terms and conditions in this Agreement at any time at our sole discretion. In such event, you will be notified by email. Modifications may include but are not limited to, changes in the payment procedures and OneStream’s Affiliate Program rules. If any modification is unacceptable to you, your only option is to end this Agreement. Your continued participation in OneStream’s Affiliate Program after posting the change notice or new Agreement on our site will indicate your agreement to the changes.

Termination

Your affiliate application and status in our Affiliate Program may be suspended or terminated for any of the following reasons if you:

Engage in inappropriate advertisements, such as making false claims or sharing misleading hyperlinks, etc.
Indulge in spamming; that is, use mass email, mass newsgroup posting, etc.
Violate intellectual property rights.
Offer rebates, coupons, or other forms of promised kickbacks from your affiliate commission as an incentive.
Fail to disclose the affiliate relationship for any promotion that qualifies as an endorsement under existing Federal Trade Commission guidelines and regulations or any applicable state laws.
Use coupons and deal sites.
Share your affiliate link on websites that:
- Promote sexually explicit materials, violence, or illegal activities
- Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
- Includes “OneStream” or variations or misspellings thereof in its domain name
- Is otherwise in any way unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable to us in our sole discretion
- Contain software downloads that potentially enable diversions of commission from other affiliates in our program.

Furthermore, in addition to the aforementioned provisions, OneStream Live retains the authority to terminate any Affiliate account without prior notice, either for breaches of this Agreement or without specifying a reason. Moreover, in the event of suspension, OneStream Live holds the right to withhold any pending payments indefinitely. If your account undergoes termination for any reason, commissions for pending transactions will not be remitted, and any owed funds and pending distributions will be marked as invalid.

Use of Trademarks, Logo & Graphics

During the term of this Agreement, in the event that we make our trademark and/or logo available to you within the Affiliate dashboard, you may use our trademark and/or logo as long as you follow the usage requirements in this section.

You must:

only use the images of our trademark/logo that we make available to you without altering them in any way;
only use our trademarks/logo in connection with the Affiliate Program and this agreement, and
immediately comply if we request that you discontinue use.

You must not:

use our trademark/logo in a misleading or disparaging way;
use our trademark/logo in a way that implies we endorse, sponsor, or approve of your services or products; or
use our trademark/logo in violation of applicable law or in connection with an obscene, indecent, or unlawful topic or material.

You are allowed to use the graphics available in your affiliate dashboard for display on your website and in your communications.

If you share our affiliate assets and ad links to any third-party website/service, you are solely responsible for making sure it does not violate the third party’s Terms and conditions.

Coupon & Deal Sites

OneStream Live occasionally provides exclusive coupons to certain affiliates and newsletter subscribers. If you haven’t been pre-approved or assigned a specific branded coupon, it is not permitted to promote said coupon.

Unauthorized promotion of coupons or usage of deal sites is strictly prohibited.
Affiliates must not use misleading text or advertise unauthorized deals.
Bidding on terms like “OneStream Live Coupons” is not permitted.
Generating pop-ups, iframes, or setting cookies without clear user interest is prohibited.
Affiliate sites should not falsely advertise deals that aren’t available.
Violation of these guidelines will result in immediate removal from the program.

Liability

We will not be liable to you with respect to any subject matter of this agreement under any contract, negligence, tort, strict liability, or other legal or equitable theory for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages (including, without limitation, loss of revenue or goodwill or anticipated profits or lost business), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Further, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this agreement, in no event shall OneStream Live cumulative liability to you arising out of or related to this agreement, whether based on contract, negligence, strict liability, tort, or other legal or equitable theory, exceed the total commission fees paid to you under this agreement.
Also, we shall not be held accountable for indirect or incidental damages, including loss of revenue or commissions resulting from affiliate tracking failures, loss of database files, or any outcomes arising from intentional harm to the Program and/or our website(s).

Indemnification

You will indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless, at your expense, against any third-party claim, suit, action, or proceeding (each, an “Action”) brought against us (and our officers, directors, employees, agents, service providers, licensors, and affiliates) by a third party not affiliated with us to the extent that such Action is based upon or arises out of:
- your participation in the Affiliate Program
- our use of the prospect data you provided us
- your noncompliance with or breach of this agreement
- your use of the Affiliate dashboard, or
- our use of our logo/trademarks.
We will:
- notify you in writing within thirty (30) days of our becoming aware of any such claim
- give you sole control of the defense or settlement of such a claim and
- provide you (at your expense) with any and all information and assistance reasonably requested by you to handle the defense or settlement of the claim.
You shall not accept any settlement that:
- imposes an obligation on us
- requires us to make an admission or
- imposes liability not covered by these indemnifications or places restrictions on us without our prior written consent.
Disclaimer
- OneStream Live makes no express or implied representations or warranties regarding onestream.live service and website or the products or services provided therein, any implied warranties of onestream.live ability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement are expressly disclaimed and excluded.
- In addition, we make no representation that the operation of our site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we will not be liable for the consequences of any interruptions or errors.
