A Setup is a saved package of everything that controls how your stream looks on screen.
Older versions of Studio called this a brand profile and it covered your logo, background and colors. Setups go further. One Setup now carries four groups of settings at once.
- Design holds your brand color, your font, your style preset, and whether names and titles appear on screen.
- Media holds your stage backgrounds, your background music, your branding and your overlays.
- Banners hold the banners you display during a broadcast, sorted into folders.
- Tickers hold the scrolling text lines that run across the screen.
That means a Setup is not just a visual theme. It is the full on-screen kit for a particular kind of show.

How to Create and Save a Setup
Building a Setup takes a few minutes once. Everything you change is saved to the Setup you have open, so there is no separate save button to hunt for.
Follow the steps below to build your first one.

Open the Setup Panel
Log in to OneStream Live and start a Studio session. Click Setup in the right sidebar. The panel opens on the Design tab, with a dropdown at the top showing which Setup is loaded. A Base Setup is there by default.

Create a New Setup
Click the dropdown and choose New Setup. Name it after the kind of show it is for, such as Client Webinar or Team Standup, so you know which one to load later.

Build the Design
Set your brand Color by hex code and pick your Font. Then choose a Style Preset. Bubble, Retro, Minimal, Glow, Classic and Futuristic each change how name tags and on-screen text are drawn.
Under Display Names & Titles, tick whether participant names and titles appear on screen. Restore to Default sits at the bottom if an experiment goes wrong.

Add Your Media
Open the Media tab. Under Stage Background, add an image or a music track to your active backgrounds. Background Options splits into Visuals and Music, each with its own uploads and its own library.
On Visuals, upload your own artwork up to 40MB at 1920×1080, or switch on Built-in Visuals for the ready-made ones. On Music, upload MP3 or WAV files up to 20MB, or switch on Built-in Music for the included tracks. Both libraries are sorted into Gaming, Professional, Abstract and Modern.

Load Your Banners and Tickers
The Banners and Tickers tabs work the same way. Click Create Folder to group them, then add the banners and text tickers you want available during the show. Both start with a Default folder.

Star the One You Use Most
Click the star beside a Setup in the dropdown to mark it as your default. Everything else stays one click away in the same list.
