OneStream Live 2.0 has landed on mobile with a new look, new navigation and new names for a few tools you already use. Pricing has not changed. Here is everything in this release.
A New Look, and Navigation That Fits Your Thumb
Mobile app version 5.0.0 opens with a full visual redesign, and the navigation was rebuilt around it.
A bottom bar keeps Home, Studio, Streams, Content and More one tap away. The side menu holds Instant Studio, Social Platforms, Custom Websites, Stream Players, My Team and Stream Keys.
Home is laid out in the order you actually use it: your Instant Studio link at the top, your stream options underneath, and your streams below that. Nothing buried three taps deep.

Studio Comes to Mobile Properly
This is the big one. Studio on mobile used to be join or schedule only. In this version you get the production tools themselves on your phone.
Everything below runs from the device in your hand:
- Host a session: Host a live studio session directly from your mobile app
- Scenes: Build scenes, set an Intro and Outro, drop an Instant Overlay, and keep everything organized in folders.
- Setup: Design, Media, Banners, and Tickers, all in one sheet. Pick a color and font, choose from six style presets, and decide whether names and titles show on screen.
- Stage backgrounds: Upload your own visuals and music, or use the built-in ones.
- Banners and tickers: Add them, organize them into folders, and put them on screen while you stream.
- Add content: Bring in audio, images, video, your screen, or a placeholder to fill later.
- Attendees: Invite guests with a link, then add them to the stage when you are ready for them.
- Guest controls: You decide who gets in. Turn on the Guest Lobby, and switch on social sign-in when you want only verified guests joining. You can also play a sound when someone enters, and ban anyone you need to.
- Camera effects: Blur and virtual backgrounds, green screen, smart zoom, color filters, color correction, low light correction, and more.
Instant Studio: Your Studio Is Always One Tap Away
Your Instant Studio link sits right at the top of the mobile Home screen. It stays the same every session, so you can copy it, share it, and enter the studio whenever you’re ready. No new link each time.
Live Chat Now Works on Mobile
Live Chat works on mobile for the first time in this release.
It sits inside your Studio session, Encoder Stream and Pre-recorded Stream, so you can read and reply right where the stream is happening instead of switching apps mid-sentence.
Live Chat is available on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, LinkedIn and Kick.
Encoder Stream, Formerly RTMP Streaming
“External RTMP Encoder” is now Encoder Streaming, and it was rebuilt as a proper native interface on mobile rather than a single settings screen.
- New protocols: WHIP and SRT now join RTMP and RTMPS.
- Multiple stream keys: Create and manage more than one key.
- Backup stream key: Add a second key that runs alongside your primary. If the primary drops, we switch to the backup so your broadcast keeps going.
Pre-recorded Streams
Pre-recorded streaming gets its own native interface on mobile, laid out as a simple three-step flow:
- Upload your content: Add one video or several, reorder them, and loop the playlist if you want.
- Add your details: Title, description, and destinations, or import them from your last broadcast in one tap.
- Pick your timing: Go live immediately or at a specific time, and turn on Repeat Stream for anything recurring.
- Video looping: Loop your content and keep the stream running as long as you need.
- 24-hour Stream: Put your content on a continuous loop and keep your YouTube channel live around the clock.
My Team and Updated Roles
“Members” is now My Team. You can rename your team, switch between teams, and belong to more than one.
Manager has been replaced by Cohost, a narrower role. A Cohost can modify existing events and, for Studio events, manage on-screen elements like graphics, banners, guests, and comments. Admins keep broader access, everything except billing, adding or removing team members, and changing the account owner.

Smaller Improvements Worth Knowing
- Custom Websites: Build a custom website, edit it, and check your analytics, all from your phone.
- Push notifications: Real-time push notifications now land on your phone.
- Content: “Videos” is now Content, split into Videos & Recordings and a new Other Media library for the assets you reuse across streams.
Where Did My Old OneStream Live Features Go on Mobile?
Nothing was removed. Several tools were renamed in OneStream Live 2.0, so a feature that looks missing is almost always sitting under a new label.
